We’re adding a new instrument to our portfolio: the Alsys Beverage Analyzer. It runs beverage quality control around the clock, with nobody at the bench.
Beverage QC labs run the same handful of analyses on hundreds of bottles and cans a day: CO₂ and package pressure, density and °Brix, pH and acid content, conductivity. Done by hand, that work ties up an analyst for most of a shift, and it stops the moment the shift ends. The Beverage Analyzer keeps running after everyone has gone home.
Bottles and cans enter through a 12-position intake carousel. Barcode sign-in identifies the sample and links it to the requested analysis before preparation starts, so every result stays traceable back to its batch. From there, the robot punctures, degasses, dilutes and measures without a hand touching the sample.
The analyzer accepts PET bottles from 0.5 L to 2.0 L and multiple can formats, through dedicated holders built for each package type. One system, one footprint, instead of a separate station for every package format.
One system runs the analyses a beverage lab needs every day: CO₂ and package pressure, density and °Brix, pH and acid content, and conductivity. Titration and measurement integrate directly with OMNIS (Metrohm) and AP Connect (Anton Paar) instruments, connected over REST API for remote control and full lab connectivity. The analyzers doing the measuring are the same instruments already trusted in beverage labs today; the robot handles everything around them.

A LIMS/ERP bridge pulls method parameters before a run starts and posts results back the moment they’re ready, so data doesn’t wait for someone to type it in. Visual, email and sound notifications flag anything that needs attention, and a live system status screen shows robot activity, analyzer status and active samples in real time, from anywhere.
Smooth surfaces and accessible components keep cleaning fast and reduce contamination risk between runs, which matters more the longer the system runs unattended.
Up to 100 samples in 24 hours, unattended. That figure holds overnight and over weekends, not just during a staffed shift.
Results reach production while the batch is still running, not at the end of a shift when the batch has already moved on. The analyst’s time goes to the work that needs a person: interpreting results, investigating deviations, and the methods that don’t yet have a robot for them.
